Tryouts for 2004 Season

Cyberray News

Tracy Sports Complex 11th Street

Mon - Tryouts  U12 - Abby, Jordan, Marissa, Jasmine, Ashley  U13 - Danika, Mitra, Neda, Taylor.  Also, Kati Crandall, Anna Prock and Elizabeth Lee has expressed interest in playing for the C'Rays!  Mr. McDuffie has also indicated that several U11 players are interested in playing for the C'Rays!  If you are still undecided, come on out anyways to make sure you give yourself a chance to make it on the roster. At least you can still say yes.  Remember, your desire to play is one of the requirements.  Remember, you must tryout for at least two sessions per club rules.  I will be bringing handouts about the Cyberrays on Wednesdays tryouts.  So come on out.

Wed - Tryouts - Well another good night.  I invited several players a spot on the team.  The final decision is theirs.  I hope to make offers to a few more once I know which players are available and interested.  Note: You still must sign in on Friday even if it's rained out, think of it this way, it will be the easiest tryout you'll ever have.

Fri - 3/26/2004 U11-U15 Girls   6-8pm

Cyberrays in their natural habitat!

How do you become a Cyberray?

Do you love soccer?  Do you like to have fun and play in different cities against really good teams?

If you answered yes to any of the above, maybe you can be one of us...  A Tracy Cyberray.

We are looking for the few special players who have the courage to make a commitment to their teammates and are willing to honor that commitment.

If this sounds hard, it is.  Not everyone can be a Cyberray.  It takes a special player who has the right attitude of never giving up and always trying your best.  It takes a special player who is willing to practice as hard as they play in a game.

If you feel you have what it takes to be a Cyberray.  Come out to the U12 Girls Class III tryouts March 22,24,26 and 27 and show us what you've got.  It will be held at the Tracy Sports Complex on 11th Street from 6-8pm MWF and 10-12pm Saturday.

I have had the opportunity to coach both recreational(TYSL) and competitive(TUCSC) teams the last two years.  The differences are very important to understand before making a commitment to either program so that everyone, players and families, have a great experience.  Competitive soccer is extremely exciting to watch.  Tournaments are held once a month unlike recreational soccer which is at the end of a short season.
